'Freedom at last'. Sky’s international correspondent AlexRossiSKY reports from the central square of Kherson as crowds celebrate - with joy and tears - the liberation of the city. Live updates: 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

10:00:38Sky's international correspondent Alex Rossi,Alex is witnessing first-hand the eutrophic scenes from the newly liberated region.

One resident tells Alex:"You have to have something that you live for and this was the moment to live for. "The UK and the international community will continue to support them, and while the withdrawal is welcome, no one is going to underestimate the continuing threat posed by the Russian Federation."

Alex and his team are among the first foreign journalists to reach the centre of Kherson since the city was retaken by Ukrainian forces. The retreat, which was ordered amid a Ukrainian counter-offensive, represents a huge blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking at a news conference in Cambodia on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit, Mr Kuleba said Russia remaining part of the deal was insufficient and measures should be taken to ensure its inspectors were not intentionally delaying shipments.

In its statement, the ministry said that Russia's withdrawal from Kherson, which they claimed had been completed on 11 November, had likely started as early as 22 October. IAEA director Rafael Grossi said in a statement:"Although radiation levels were normal, the extent of damage to this nuclear research facility is dramatic and shocking, even worse than expected."Why are Ukrainians sharing watermelon memes?According to an episode of BBC Sounds, most of the watermelons in Ukraine come from the Kherson region.
