An East End landfill company bidding to extend its contract past the original 2025 deadline has submitted a planning application to thePaterson’s of Greenoakhill Ltd has submitted an application to Glasgow City Council for the landfill site and wants to extend its operation for an additional two to four years.
SNP councillor Alex Kerr, for Baillieston, said: “This week myself and other councillors received correspondence from an agent working on behalf of Paterson’s of Greenoakhill that an application had been submitted to extend the operation of the site beyond the current 2025 deadline. “The full details of the plans lodged will become available on the Council website in the coming weeks and I will have more to say in detail then.”
