'Unlikely' that missle that killed two in Poland was fired by Russia, Joe Biden says
Two people have died in Poland after a missile hit the country, sparking an emergency meeting between world leaders.
Many world leaders are currently in Bali, Indonesia, attending the Group of 20 summit. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was initially going to meet with China's President Xi Jinping today at the summit but this has now been cancelled, according to Downing Street officials. “We discussed the explosion that took place in the eastern part of Poland near the border with Ukraine. We offer our full support for and assistance with Poland’s ongoing investigation. We agree to remain in close touch to determine appropriate next steps as the investigation proceeds.
A statement from the Polish Foreign Ministry noted that it believes the missile was made in Russia. Despite this, Poland's President Andrzej Duda highlighted that officials are unsure of who fired it or where it was made.
