The Environment Agency has issued dozens of flood alerts and warnings
Dozens of flood warnings and alerts have been issued across the UK as more heavy rain is forecast - with Greater Manchester braced for downpours.
Most of the alerts are for the south of England, but the Met Office predicts much of the UK will see more rain. "Heavy rain will move into western areas later in the night with brisk winds", a forecast on the Met Office website said."Staying frost free under the blanket of cloud. Outbreaks of rain will spread across the UK tomorrow, turning heavy at times."
There are five warnings and five alerts across Scotland, and these include concern coastal areas in the Highlands from Helmsdale to Embo may experience flooding from the sea.
