​Rep. Michael McCaul, the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, ​said on Wednesday that ​the panel will hold a hearing ​next week​​ on the ​billions in military and humanitarian aid the ​United States has ​sent to Ukraine​.​

Rep. Michael McCaul talks to reporters during a visit to Kyiv on Feb. 21. He said the House Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a hearing next week on US aid to Ukraine.During the visit to Ukraine, he and the other House members reviewed the accountability apparatus the US has established to track weapons and to make sure the aid was getting to its intended targets.

The US has provided Ukraine with $113 billion in military and humanitarian assistance since Russia invaded its neighbor on Feb. 24, 2021.Blinken also said President Volodymyr Zelensky is battling ​a history of ​corruption in Ukraine.
