Members of the house were seen waving Ukrainian flags in support of the nation and cheering as the motion was approved. The funding was requested by Mr Biden in October as the nation’s military supplies began to diminish following its two-year war with Russia. In response to the aid fund, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X/Twitter: “I am grateful to the United States House of Representatives, both parties, and personally Speaker Mike Johnson for the decision that keeps history on the right track.
