Jonathan Martinez Calata was arrested at Granger High School in West Valley City on Oct. 9. He was booked on suspicion of attempted kidnapping of a minor, impersonating a police officer, and a series of related offenses. Upon his arrest for trespassing on Granger High property, Calata's backpack was searched, revealing a THC vape device, deemed illegal in Utah, especially on school grounds, according to police. Additionally, an unidentified bag of pills, testing positive for amphetamines, was discovered.
