Kouri Richins, 33, of Kamas, has been arrested in connection with the death of her husband, Eric Richins, 39, in March 2022.
The attorney’s office released no details on the arrest but said it was the result of a “lengthy investigation by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
”Kouri Richins is charged with first-degree felony count of aggravated murder, and three second-degree felony counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office reportedly found her husband had five times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system.
