The core idea behind "Becoming Texas" is to bring forward stories that often remain in the shadows of the more prominent narratives of Texas history. While many are familiar with the grand stories of Texas, the podcast wanted to uncover those that have been neglected, overlooked, or, in some cases, deliberately silenced.
