In this month’s motoring column for Vogue, Erin Baker reviews the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II on a trip to Six Senses Ibiza.
Such is the popularity of Ibiza’s north coast for ultra-high net-worthers, that the estate agent Knight Frank’s Wealth Report puts it in the top six places to invest. If the murmured conversations around the pool at the local Six Senses resort are anything to go by, I can confirm this.
We drove south and east, to Cala de Sant Vicent, then down the coast to Marina Santa Eulalia, where Rolls-Royce had laid on a short speedboat trip around the bay to give a sense of just how much exterior design is rooted in the form of boats, from the upright prow line at the front of the bonnet, to the single waistline that runs the length of the car. Undoubtedly the aesthetic inspiration is there, but it felt as much about giving us a taste of the lifestyles of Cullinan patrons.
