From Chanel and Miu Miu, to Dior and Saint Laurent, see all the highlight moments from Paris Fashion Week spring/summer 2024.
The high point of every fashion month? Paris Fashion Week, mon chouchou. Even in the face of an unexpected bedbug infestation, the shows must go on. And go on they did, offering a smörgåsbord of fashion spectacles sprinkled with A-list sightings, emotional designer swansongs and stirring debuts. The departure of Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, and of Gabriela Hearst from Chloé, marked an industry shift.
On the avant-garde side, Loewe, Schiaparelli, Maison Margiela and Undercover introduced more inventive silhouettes. Jonathan Anderson’s super high-waisted trousers and oversized knitted cardigans that doubled as capelets at Loewe were a fresh take on an everyday wardrobe. Daniel Roseberry’s scrapbook-like embellishments at Schiaparelli embraced the “madness of Elsa approach.” Maison Margiela’s patchwork hourglass gowns and cinched macs blended art school aesthetics with a haute couture mood.
