The EX30 is also designed to have the lowest carbon footprint of any Volvo car to date, meaning owners can take to the streets without feeling guilty about harming Johnny Polar Bear. Chipping away at emissions across the production and projected life cycle of a Volvo EX30, the company says it has reduced its total carbon footprint over 200,000 kms of driving by 25 per cent compared to existing fully electric cars such as the C40 and XC40.
Of course, anyone who has ever visited an IKEA store knows the EX30 wouldn’t exude Swedish design without the presence of smart storage to go along with a cabin crafted of recycled and renewable materials. The likes of denim, flax, and wool are all present in a car which offers a choice of four distinct interior “rooms,” a term Volvo uses to describe the colour and material selections on offer in its new EV.
