Here's why The Walking Dead changed one character's fate from the comics: 'And so once we went down that path, it just felt right, and it gives the episode this great punch.'
The Walking Dead showrunner, Angela Kang, recently explained why Sebastian Milton's death was changed from the comics. The Walking Dead season 11, the final season of the long-running zombie-horror show, brought the Commonwealth to the small screen, a functional community that gives its citizens amenities that have practically vanished in the post-apocalyptic world such as schools, hospitals, and ice cream.
So, to be honest, we had a different plan for his death, which I think also would have worked too. We always knew Sebastian had to eat it.
