A Walmart employee was arrested and charged in Harris County for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from store registers over the course of months, according to Precinct Four Constable Mark Herman's Office.
Elisha Minter, 42, is accused of stealing more than $11,000 over the past nine days and about $20,000 since November of 2022, Herman posted on Facebook. Minter said she took cash from registers at least three times a week, Herman said.Deputies were altered to a theft on Saturday at a Walmart on Aldine Westfield Road. Walmart security staff identified Minter as the alleged thief when deputies arrived. She was charged Sunday.
