A number of products have been recalled
Supermarkets have recalled a number of products amid safety fears this week. When a product is recalled the Food Safety Agency informs customers on what they should do if they have bought the item, as well as detailed reasoning on why the product is being pulled from shelves, fridges or freezers.
Popular items have been recalled from Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury's and Waitrose recently, as reported by Liverpool Echo. These are:Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have issued recall notices for Quorn Foods' Frozen Quorn Swedish Style Balls, as packs may contain small pieces of plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes the product unsafe to eat and presents a potential choking hazard.
"If you would like any further information, please contact Quorn Customer Services at [email protected] or 0345 602 9000".Iceland has recalled its Cooked Diced Chicken Breast because some packs may contain uncooked chicken. The possible presence of raw, uncooked chicken makes this product unsafe to eat.
