The mother who started the petition is scared 'someone's going to die'
A Carlton mum says she fears that someone will be killed if changes are not implemented on a "dangerous” Nottingham road. Katie Keating, who has lived in Carlton Road for three years, fears for her children's safety walking along the street following a string of crashes.
The 39-year-old mum of two believes there needs to be traffic calming measures, cameras and speed bumps on the street. "A reduction of the speed limit to 20mph won't make a difference if people are already speeding," she added. She said: “I have been involved in a near miss recently on the corner of Cardale Road.
