Klay Thompson, Draymond Green out, Andre Iguodala in vs. Grizzlies
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — On a night when most of the Warriors’ biggest stars will be out, Golden State is welcoming back the return of a key player.
As expected, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Otto Porter Jr. were ruled out for Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies for injury management. And Gary Payton II was listed as questionable with right knee soreness. Meanwhile, Andre Iguodala was left off the team’s injury report and is expected to make his return to the court after missing the last 21 games with a back injury.
The Warriors had been playing it extra safe with Iguodala, who had been experiencing tightness in his lower back and has played less than six minutes since Jan. 21. The belief had always been that he would be ready to play come the postseason.
