Bellevue Police Motorcycle Officer Jordan Jackson, 34, died of his injuries after authorities say a car struck his motorcycle during a collision early Monday.
The officer wasas employee of the quarter for his excellent quality of work and service to the community, the department said. His superiors commended him for his leadership in the department and eagerness to take on additional responsibility.
Investigators believe a white car struck Jackson's motorcycle while he was traveling down the 500 block of Bellevue Way Southeast in Bellevue, Washington, early Monday.
