Former President Donald Trump is speaking at the Moms for Liberty summit.
His address was slated to begin at 4 p.m. Eastern time. The Republican front-runner is one of several Republican 2024 presidential candidates due to speak at the group's Philadelphia summit.Moms for Liberty is a conservative parental rights group most notable for challenging school boards and pushing for parents to have a greater say in their children's school lesson plans. The number of high-profile candidates speaking at the conference has increased their already growing profile.
"I think it says that parents are a very important part of the future of America and that the candidates care about the issues that parents care about, and they want to make sure that we know that," Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice told Fox News Digital.Along with Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis , former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy are all due to speak at the summit.
