Brooklyn folk-pop outfit San Fermin (sanferminband) stopped by our NYC studio last week and left us with this beautiful acoustic cover of carlyraejepsen's 'Run Away With Me.' Watch:
last week on Sony Music Masterworks. They stopped by theStudio NYC last Thursday ahead of album release day to play three of the album’s nine songs, including the beautiful “The Hunger,” the more subdued “Summer by the Void” and the equally lovely “Saints.”
Before departing, however, they surprised us with one delightful cover: an acoustic take on Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me,” the opening track on the Canadian pop singer’s quintessential 2010 album. Claire Wellin and Carly Bruce share vocal duties. Their voices together make for an incredibly warm combination.
