Writing in tomorrow’s match programme, Duxbury says: “I mentioned some time back that we had been reflecting on last year’s Supporters Committee meeting, the reaction it drove among other supporters, the positives and negatives that emerged and the fact we have since been taking counsel from different supporter groups and organisations in order to find a supporter engagement they were happy with – not one created by the club.
“This work is well underway now, and soon there will be an announcement of the supporter-agreed format for future regular meetings. With the Hornets now facing a battle to reach the Championship play-offs and having recently hired their third head coach of the season, there has been unrest among supporters about the lack of communication and accountability from the Watford board.
