The advice will become available in supermarkets across England to begin with, but the NHS have offered advice to all on how to check for certain types of cancer.Warning signs of breast and pectoral cancer According to the NHS website, you should see your GP if you find "a new lump or area of thickened tissue in either breast that was not there before".
When physically checking them, NHS guidance says: "Look at your breasts and feel each breast and armpit, and up to your collarbone. You may find it easiest to do this in the shower or bath, by running a soapy hand over each breast and up under each armpit.
