'We just love Blackpool we do.'
Standing at 158 metres tall with over 125 years of history, the Blackpool Tower is probably the most iconic representation of the seaside town.
To see if people living in the town and visiting on holiday felt the same way, we took to the streets of Blackpool to find out if the Tower really is as disappointing as made out. Not allowing the seasonal opening times of attractions dampen their spirit, John added: "We just love Blackpool we do." Barbara Jackson from Chorley was visiting Blackpool for the day, but knows a lot about the town having lived in St Annes once upon a time. "We frequently came," Barbara said on coming to the seaside town over the years.
