There's much more to the seaside town than you think
I'm not really sure of the minimum distance you need to travel from home for it to feel like a holiday.
We might have had lots planned, but anyone with kids knows how much they love their home comforts and how disastrous it would be to not have Netflix or be able to charge their phones. Can you imagine! We did sample the onsite Coast & Country Bar and Restaurant for Friday night tea though and the food was delicious.
On Sunday we were back out again, with an almost identical journey to the theme park located so conveniently on the doorstep of Riverside. It might not sound trendy, but even the kids had seen it on TikTok so they couldn't wait to step inside.
