It’s not all about the messy buns.
This hack is simple and quick to do, especially if you’re running late or on the go ! It makes your hair look sleek and tidy — perfect for a casual day out, night out or a day in the office.
The trick is to place loads of gel on the sides and keep brushing whilst grabbing your hair into a high ponytail. It didn’t take me very long to do but, as a perfectionist, I did find it difficult to get it right the first time. I didn't use any hairspray as I didn't have any on me but I don't think it's a necessity to use both gel and hairspray unless you want shine.
My hair isn’t quite the length to place in a high ponytail yet so it meant I had to place lots of bobby pins in to hold up all the hair on the nape of my neck, but once it grows, it's game-over!
