I've resisted putting the heating on thanks to my Oodie
As autumn approaches, households across the country are debating whether it's time to switch on the heating. Despite the recent cold snap, we've managed to resist turning up the thermostat in our home, thanks in part to one of my best purchases from last winter - an Oodie.
You might think that having one large size for everyone would make the Oodie unwieldy, clever features like elasticated cuffs ensure it stays comfortable and in place without causing any issues. I bought mine last winter after spending a lot of time researching similar products and alternatives before making the decision.
Even when sitting at my laptop for hours without moving, when I'd usually start to feel chilly and need to get up and make a cuppa, I found myself standing up to stretch my legs rather than because I couldn't feel them anymore.
I managed to get my first one for £50, and when we bought the children's ones around Black Friday, they were significantly cheaper as we bought a bundle with friends who also wanted to get some for their kids for Christmas. Another way to reduce costs is to sign up to the site's newsletter and social media.
