In a survey of family offices conducted by Campden Wealth, a market research firm, 19% of the average portfolio was found to be invested sustainably, which is defined as “an investment approach that involves the consideration of environmental, social, and governance factors in the investment process.”
Others put the shift in attitude down to public demonstrations by climate change campaign groups, such as Extinction Rebellion."Extinction Rebellion is a movement that has moved the discussion to the front pages of the news in a say that no one else has managed,” says Joanna Walker, head of private clients at the Charities Aid Foundation , which advises wealthy donors and charities.
