Wear OS 4 now rolling out to the Galaxy Watch 5 series while Pixel Watch users continue to wait for an update
Google's highly-anticipated Wear OS 4 update, unveiled in back in May, is now making its way to yet another one of Samsung's smartwatches. While it was, the update is rolling out in the U.S. and can be identified by the build number ending in BWH3. The Wear OS update for the Galaxy Watch 5 is based on Android 13, just like it was when it originally rolled out to theWear OS 4, or"One UI 5 Watch" as named by Samsung, brings a range of exciting features.
Check the battery level of all your devices: The new Battery tile lets you quickly check the battery level of your watch, phone, and Galaxy Buds. Get heart rate guidance during running workouts: Your watch can provide personalized heart rate zones while you run to help you manage your exercise intensity.
Transfer your watch to a new phone: It’s easier than ever to switch from one phone to another. You’ll still have your watch faces and apps after transferring.More call controls: You now have more control over calls without touching your phone. You can adjust the call volume, mute sound, and press buttons on the keypad, all from your watch.
Use multiple timers at once: You can now have up to 20 timers running at the same time to help keep track of all your tasks.

Our first glimpse (probably) of the Pixel Watch 2.Google did it again. For a hot second, the Pixel 8 Pro and what appears to be the Pixel Watch 2 popped up on a Google Store page. While it’s pretty clear this is the Pixel 8 Pro, it’s hard to definitively say this is the Pixel Watch 2 because of the angle. I’ve been holding up my Pixel Watch next to this picture for a good while and it does appear thinner and flatter than the current watch. It probably is! It’d make sense since we already got an FCC filing. And while this isn’t the best angle, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a few more leaks before Google makes everything official.
