Today is expected to be the worst travel day, as millions of Americans hit the road for Thanksgiving. ZinniaDee_TV checks on conditions at LaGuardia Airport:

The MTA and Port Authority warn travelers to expect longer wait times at TSA checkpoints, and they encourage people to use public transit to get to the airport.

Whether in the air or on the road, millions are traveling for the holiday this year. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says more than 6.3 million people are expected to travel through its airports and roadways through Sunday. Across the country, nearly 4.6 million passengers have passed through TSA checkpoints this week, that's up nearly 7% compared to last year. "I've got to tell you that it was very, very smooth and easy. Except when we got here to Newark, we sat on the tarmac for about 25 minutes.
