A man was shot and wounded Thursday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
The 25-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk just before 11 p.m. in the 4200 block of West Monroe Street when a gunman started shooting, according to police.
The victim was grazed on the hand by gunfire and was transported to Loretto Hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.All the news you need to know, every day
