The teams looked ready to head into the second intermission tied at zero, but Saskatoon’s Spencer Shugrue notched his first goal — and first point — of the series to cap off a three-on-two break with 14 seconds left in the frame. “It was a high-level series by both teams, much the same for the game,” Paddock said. “I thought it was hard-fought from start to finish.”
