The last few years have seen Lucasfilm focus on expanding the Star Wars franchise on the small screen, with an ever-expanding range of Disney+ TV shows - spearheaded by The Mandalorian. The franchise has always been known for its cameos, and the best approach is to ensure these don't dominate.
The problems were likely compounded by the rather strange characters the two played. Lizzo's character, for example, was clearly modeled on the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, complete with a scene involving a caterpillar-like creature. There, however, the queen's capricious nature is actually significant; here, it was played for laughs.
