Christopher Bell will be on the pole when the green flag drops mid-afternoon Sunday on the AdventHealth 400.
Christopher Bell put an end to a run of misfortune by qualifying on the pole for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
It has been an up-and-down season for Bell, who started the season with a third-place finish in the Daytona 500 and won at Phoenix a few weeks later, and he still had some momentum going at Circuit of the Americas and Richmond. Ty Gibbs will start sixth on Sunday, followed by Austin Cindrich, Michael McDowell eighth, Chase Elliott ninth and Chase Briscoe — who scrubbed the wall during his final qualifying run — to round out the top 10.
