A 42-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon when the vehicle he was driving struck a building in north suburban Cook County.
responded to Vapor Bus International, located at 1010 Johnson Drive, and found a vehicle that had struck a nitrogen tank cage next to the building, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.
Paramedics pronounced the vehicle's occupant, Fernando Montesinos-Rojas, of Wheeling, dead at the scene, the medical examiner's office said. A preliminary autopsy conducted on Monday found Montesinos-Rojas died from blunt force injuries. Results of a toxicology and carbon monoxide test are still pending.
The crash is still under investigation by Buffalo Grove police and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team.that I have read and agree
