I think our request for him to come into the studio to take some calls and questions from the listeners whenSurprisingly, the response was positive and the countdown began to the greatest footballer of all time coming into our radio station.
My late Grandad was very much a Sheffielder of his era. He rarely spoke about things that happened in the past, but going to watch Pele in Sheffield was one memory he was happy to reflect on. I remember him telling me with a twinkle in his eye, about how Pele could leap for a ball, and how he seemed to glide around the pitch.
