They'll be spotted as they make their journey back
The famous RAF Red Arrows team will be spotted across the East Midlands this weekend as they head back from displays. The pilots are taking part in the Red Arrows Swansea and Headcorn Displays on Sunday before heading back to their base at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire.
As they make the journey back, the Red Arrows will be seen over several parts of the East Midlands. The team will come up from the north west of Aylesbury and into Northamptonshire, eventually reaching Leicestershire just after 8pm, Leicestershire Live reports. The fly-past will then go over Market Harborough and eventually over villages including West Langton, Church Langton and Tur Langton. The route will then encompass parts of the A47 and B6407, close to Skeffington and Billesdon.
People in the village of Lowesby should then see the planes soar above them at around 8.10pm before they head east. A path past Twyford and Great Dalby will eventually see the Red Arrows passing over Melton, then heading past Belvoir Castle and into Lincolnshire itself. People in Thorpe Arnold and Waltham on the Wolds should be able to see the planes as they head past Belvoir Castle. The timings could change as a result of adverse weather conditions.
