The latest live-action Star Wars series has been serving as an addition of sorts to the animated Star Wars Rebels series, both of which are led by creator Dave Filoni.
Still, there's one member of the Star Wars Rebels crew that's missing. Garazeb "Zeb" Orellios already made his live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 3 for a quick appearance alongside Captain Carson Teva. While Sabine, Hera, Chopper, and even Hera's Force-sensitive son Jacen have all appeared in Ahsoka, Zeb has yet to do the same.
Ahsoka's Place In The Star Wars Timeline Isn't Quite Clear The events of Ahsoka are certainly post-The Mandalorian season 2, as Morgan Elsbeth had already been detained by Ahsoka and the New Republic in this series, but the precise time of these events is still unknown. It was previously thought that Ahsoka occurs concurrently with The Mandalorian season 3, but the appearance of Carson Teva in Ahsoka episode 4 broke that timeline.
