The White House didn't express any major concerns Tuesday about a recent dip in support for President Joe Biden among Arab and Muslim Americans.
Still, the administration is actively reaching out to leaders within those communities amid Israel's war in Gaza, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.Jean-Pierre faced multiple questions on the subject during Tuesday's White House press briefing but said that she did not want to"get into every poll."
"What I can say is this: The president knows that Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of — certainly of hate-fueled attacks," she stated."And so he also understands that many of our Muslim and Arab American and Palestinian American loved ones and neighbors are worried about the hate being directed at their communities.
