The latest in President Trump’s orbit to be infected by Covid-19, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced she tested positive for the virus on Monday morning.... [+]Getty Images“After testing negative consistently, including every day since Thursday, I tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday morning while experiencing no symptoms,” McEnany wrote on Twitter.
McEnany had direct contact with Trump’s senior advisor Hope Hicks, who tested positive for the virus on Thursday before the president, and was subsequently pulled off a fundraising trip to New Jersey that President Trump still attended. However, citing negative test results, McEnany continued her duties in the White House through the rest of the week and over the weekend.
