Rapper Jack Harlow has been cast in the WhiteMenCantJump remake. He'll take on the role originally played by Woody Harrelson in what will be his feature length acting debut.
Rapper Jack Harlow makes his acting debut in the upcoming remake of White Men Can’t Jump. The original film, made in 1992, follows two basketballers as they hustle to make money off of fellow unsuspecting basketball players who underestimate their playing expertise. The original film was a box-office hit starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, featuring Rosie Perez.
According to Deadline, Jack Harlow is set to star in the remake of White Men Can’t Jump, taking the role of Billy Hoyle, previously played by Woody Harrelson. Harlow was able to win over executives – particularly producer Kenya Barris – on his first test screening for the film. The remake’s executives hired him immediately, and are now looking for Harlow’s co-stars to fast-track the film.
