The Great British Sewing Bee has returned to TV screens with a brand new series, with a fresh set of amateur sewers competing to be crowned Britain’s best seamster. Now in its 10th series, the hit BBC One show brings in millions of viewers each year.
Kiell, 35, is no stranger to the show, having hosted the 2023 Christmas special and previously competed himself on the 2021 festive special. He made his hosting debut in the first episode of the new series, which aired on Tuesday, 21 May and will air again on Saturday, 25 May on BBC Two.Who is Kiell Smith-Bynoe? Kiell is an actor and writer from Newham, London. He trained at Theatre Royal Stratford East as a youngster, before studying at East 15 Acting School as an adult.
Other acting credits include shows such as Unfamous, Comedy Feeds and Cheap Cheap Cheap. Kiell has also made appearances in Friday Night Dinner and Death in Paradise, as well as the comedies Dreamland, Bloods and Murder They Hope.
