Friday’s game was a chance for a pair of Auburn commits to show out. Foley’s Perry Thompson made an acrobatic touchdown catch and finished with seven receptions for 58 yards. He also carried the ball four times for 31 yards. The Hornets will host Daphne in what should be another high-scoring Region 1 game next week. Foley is idle next week before traveling to Class 6A No. 1 Saraland on Sept. 29.
