Condensation, damp and mould are coming back as we enter the colder months, but households can take steps to prevent them.
Autumn is officially here and while the changing leaves and cosy nights are back, so too will condensation return.
The NHS says people with damp and mould at home are prone to have respiratory infections, allergies or asthma. The two can also weaken your immune system. The activities of our daily lives indoors - like cooking, showering, and dry clothing - increases the amount of humidity indoors. It also doesn't help that we're opening our windows less as ventilation is another factor.
