Why Dead to Me was cancelled and won't be back for a season 4
Despite the love that surrounds, it seems as though the cast and its creatives are in agreement that the time to bury it is now.
Speaking more recently about the show's third and final run, creator Liz Feldman revealed that she had wanted to be the one to pull the plug. "I always knew that it was going to be a short-lived show. I wanted three or four seasons, but I'm realistic in terms of where the show lives," she told ."It lives on a platform that doesn't traditionally give more than three or four, or sometimes even one or two, seasons. I wanted the ending to feel important and not just, like, 'Oh shit, we're going to get canceled!' It's like I almost wanted to beat them to the punch – decide our own destiny."
