New casting announcements for Superman: Legacy have revealed that Guy Gardner will be the first Green Lantern of the DCU (and not Hal Jordan).
A new casting announcement for Superman: Legacy has confirmed that the DCU's first Green Lantern will not be Hal Jordan. Instead, Guy Gardner will be the first member of the Green Lantern Corps to be introduced in the new universe envisioned by DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. This actually makes a lot of sense considering Gunn's promises for both Superman: Legacy and the entire new DCU at large.
