When we visited the lounge last year I was instantly impressed - but this year my review will be far less glowing
Paying extra to start my holiday with access to an Escape Lounge at Manchester Airport has become just as essential to me as selecting my own seats on the plane.

I'm just looking for a reason why my son's been taken away' Furthermore, our seats were filthy, and our view of the runway was repeatedly disrupted by what I could only assume was some sort of 'influencer wannabe' who constantly rearranged everything on his table to take selfies.
The bar was, thankfully, well-stocked, but I couldn't help but feel as if I was sat in an airport Wetherspoons as opposed to a premium lounge. For £80 I expected much more and quality which was little more than semi-squashed chicken mayo sandwiches.
