McLachlan earns scholarshipUA coach Jedd Fisch announced Thursday that tight end Tanner McLachlan has been put on scholarship. McLachlan transferred to Arizona from Southern Utah following the 2021 season, but was limited in the spring as he rehabbed an ACL injury. Fisch said McLachlan learned how to rehab an ACL injury via YouTube videos"because, at the time, he was between both programs."
Extra points• Fisch wore a gray Arizona softball T-shirt to his media availability on Thursday to support former UA softball coach Mike Candrea, who was inducted into the UA sports hall of fame on Thursday. Candrea joined Fred Batiste, Cory Chitwood, Ben Grado, Brittany Lastrapes, Jim Livengood, Austen Thompson and Willie Williams in the Class of 2022.
