The wine industry contributes more than $1.8 billion to the Texas economy each year, according to the “More than 1.5 million tourists flock to our wineries each year,” said Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller. “Texas wineries are a special part of the Lone Star State, and they represent the perfect blend of agriculture and tourism.”
