Breast Cancer Now's ‘wear it pink’ initiative, which will take place on Friday, October 18, is to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research and life-changing support.
Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson hosted national charity Breast Cancer Now in the Scottish Parliament to raise awareness of breast cancer and to encourage Scots to support the ‘wear it pink’ fundraiser.

“Christina is facing her own difficulties with breast cancer and everyone in the Scottish Parliament is sending her love and support. She was at the forefront of our minds. “Anyone can take part in wear it pink, whether at school, work or at home. Just wear something pink, or hold a pink themed event, and donate to Breast Cancer Now to help the charity achieve its vision that by 2050 everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well.
