A POPULAR soft play centre and climbing wall in East Kilbride has suddenly closed its doors.
Aerial Adventures is based in the town’s shopping centre, which went into administration in November., which also operates a 50-foot aerial walkway above the town’s ice rink, was to close.
The company, which also runs a centre in Livingston, put out the following statement on its social media pages: “It is with regret that we have to announce our last day of trading was Friday, March 10, 2023. “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our amazing customers and staff who have supported us over the past six years.”
When it opened in 2016, Aerial Adventures was part of a £10m leisure development which included 11 new restaurants and cafes, a refurbished ice rink, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and the existing nine-screen OdeonNow, most of the restaurants and cafes have closed. Sapphire, the owner of EK, East Kilbride, went into administration in November 16, 2022.
